The SQlab 714 is an ergonomic gravel handlebar tape designed for long rides on mixed and unpaved terrain. It uses a two‑layer construction to combine grip and vibration control: a diamond‑textured outer surface for consistent traction, and an intermediate layer that absorbs micro‑vibrations before they reach the hands.The textured surface provides reliable grip on both the tops and drops, in dry as well as wet conditions. The underlying damping layer reduces hand fatigue over extended gravel sections while preserving a controlled, direct feel at the handlebar.Wrapping thickness is adjusted via the SQlab sizing system. Instead of a fixed thickness, the final grip diameter is set during wrapping: three visible nub rows indicate size S, two rows size M, one row size L. This allows the tape to be matched precisely to the rider’s measured hand size. With a length of 2,500 mm, the 714 offers sufficient material for wider gravel handlebars and a clean, continuous wrap.Available in Black, Sand, and Green.
